X 5
The X5 series is a group of wooden sculptures. The solid wood blocks are assembled by a mortise and tenon structure. The surface is mainly coated with a off-white muddy water-based paint and partially painted in black and red. Their forms appear to be mildly humorous and weird, as if some incomprehensible novel life-forms. They are like behemoths of a microscopic world, suspended in-front of a white background, dotted with black and red with disorderly sexiness.
